Chanel has two different versions of this bronzer, one in rose and one in coral. I chose this one because I am so fair (I'm a MAC NW20 for reference) and I like the effect the pink mixed in with the bronze tones gives off. It's not too orangey or muddy. It is a bronzer with a built in rose highlighter. The other bronzer, in Bronze Corail, was so beyond gorgeous in real life, but sadly, the coloring just wouldn't work with mine.
This formula blends so well and is finely milled. Chanel is synonymous with quality and this bronzer is no exception. With this you can go out there and get that "sun kissed" effect without the sun's harmful effects. It is a total win-win. I also like that this can act as a blush or a bronzer stretching your proverbially beauty buck.
The pink in real life is darker than it appears on Chanel's website and I tried in vain to capture that with my camera, but alas, the sun never made its appearance today in

L-R the colors were taken from the top of the compact to the bottom. The last color is all the colors combined. |
I am going to pass on this powder because it has been months since I used a bronzer, but I just wanted to say that I really like how you take pictures of makeup! I saw Bronze Rose in the store, and the colors were exactly like what I see on the monitor right now! Doesn't look like you used Photoshop or any other software either. It usually takes me a dozen tries to get one image with the right colors :)
ReplyDeleteOlga, I did take about a dozen pictures, and thanks for the compliment on the picture taking. You have a good eye, I did not photoshop this at all, I really wanted to convey how pretty this bronzer was. I still don't think the pictures do it justice though.
ReplyDeleteI agree, really beautiful photographs. I swear, it's the photos that takes so much time with blogging, not the writing.
ReplyDeleteZuzu's Petals, I could not agree more. Taking photos and editing, and water marking is the most time consuming part of blogging.
